I like the composition of first one and the BW coversion. The second reminds me of an aerial view of the desert.

Number three doesn't do as much for me and I think it is because I can see the rough edges of the paper and it just doesn't seem to flow as well.

+1 on this. I bet you could turn down the sharpness in post or use a plugin like Topaz simplify to get rid of the rough edges. I think it would flow even better then. Overall I like what you have done!

"Simple" yet artistic

Your lens or sensor may need a cleaning on image 2 there's a dust bunny on the left hand side.

I don't know why, but #2 is my favorite out of these. Clone out that dust spot. ;)

I think the sharpness on the edge of the paper (on all three) is over done. It may just be the resizing, but I think it would look better a little on the soft side.

For me, what makes the images cool is that you are not exactly sure what you are looking at. It's almost surreal. However, the sharp edges of the paper tell my brain what I am looking at and it snaps me back to reality. That's why I think it would be better if the edges were soft.

Thanks NikonFan.
I might play around w/ some more shots tonight. Saying this is kinda crazy to me, but I will try to get a softer focus...lol I do understand what you are saying w/ the edges killing it. I'll have to use a different kind of paper. The stuff I used was more like construction paper. It had thick, rough edges.
