At first I didn't remember anything that would give you that view in the first few shots. Then remembered the overlook on the side of the road just east of the park. I have been wanting to go back there for a sunrise or sunset shoot. That area will look a lot better after a few rains.

The morning before I passed through the park I was in a torrential rain storm as I passed Bucky's on IH10. They got a lot of rain that morning.
