Ever since my wife brought home some avocados I've been wanting to photograph the pit. This particular one I photographed this morning had been drying for a couple weeks before I sliced it in two. I'm glad that the skin of the pit didn't all fall off. I like how it helps to illustrate the drying that has taken place.
