Very interesting... I like the overall picture of #2 more....

Was it a cloudy day? Looks like it has a blue cast to it.

Yes it was very cloudy and wet. Pretty much the entire time we were there.

how long were you overseas and what did you use for a camera bag.

i am going to italy for 2.5 weeks and i am thinking of getting the street and feild belt system.

I was over there for three weeks. I am using the tamrac velocity 9 sling bag. I originally really liked the bag, however the more I use it the less I care for it. It's a good bag for perhaps a short time and light equipment. I found it very annoying when getting on and off the subway, or sitting down to eat having to take it off over your head. I would have much perferred a backpack style bag.

you have to take those off to get to your camera too.
i like my back pack if i am just going some where and i am going to shoot for a while but just shooting a few frames and walking on its a pain. Or if you want to change a lens you have to the pack off open it all the way and then get your lens and take the other lens off and put it on and put the other one up. takes way to long.
