I had to go Florida this last week. My dad ended up in the hospital getting a six way bypass on Monday. He doing a lot better now. Amazing how fast recovery time is nowdays. Better is considering the shape he was end when we got there.
Anyway, while he was sleeping we went do to catch the launch. My wife has never seen one. It was only about 45 miles away so off we go. We made it most of the way, then I started seeing folks stepping out onto sidewalks. I pulled the car over into a left turn lane and go snapped a few shots. I set the camera on manua focus and TV mode at 1/3000, 1/2 stop under exposed using RAW. Not too good, but atleast my wife got to see part of a launch. I was lucky enough for my dad to take me to the last Apollo launch that was at night and very cool to see.
