One thing I hate is digital noise and aviation shots can show noise pretty badly sometimes. I am pretty generous applying the noise reduction usually. I normally set the noise reduction strength in Photoshop CS2 to 6 or even sometimes 7. . . The other thing I always do is shoot mostly in Raw mode. I also go over each pic carefully to get rid of any sensor dust specs. . . the clone tool is my friend there. . . . but thanks for the compliments. . . .always much appreciated.
Well thank God that these are not just popping out of your camera. If that were the case, I would track you down and grab that camera as my own........

At least now I have hope that I can try to improve my own work to bring it up to your "standards". Thanks for sharing with us. I think my stuff is pretty good until I compare it to yours, and then I just want to quit shooting anything and go sit on the couch.

Ha!. . . Tom, no need to go and sit on the couch. . . Aviation and sports are really the only things I have shot in the last 2.5 years. . . If you asked me to shoot anything else (a model for example) I would probably fail miserably...

Awesome work of great aircraft and re-enactors. I think the German tracked vehicle is even more rare than a B-17. Great photo of the P-47's. Whose A-4 Skyhawk?

Great shots Keith. You are giving me air show fever. The plane shots are cool but I also like the people shots. The Germans give it a nice touch.

Great shots!!! Wish there was an airshow like that close to Austin. My family would have no problem coming along (all boys in the house except for me and the cat). Hope you do not mind me playing with your picture. Wanted to see what a mild sepia would do for it. I'm still learning PS so I hope the results aren't too bad.
