All I can say is, "Wow!" Lots to shoot and challenging light conditions. I was there from 11:00 a.m. to almost 6:00 p.m. This shot is only the beginning. I'm tired so I might not post anymore tonight.

I love the way the lines of trees and flowers lead your eye right to the building and then the lines on the building lead your eye up to the ceiling! What an excellent composition!

It really is a great picture! No wonder you're tired though: 7 hours of shooting is a long time! When you regain energy I'd love to more of what you took! I've been to this place once when it first opened put would love to go back with a camera and pay more attention to all the little details that I missed!

Daniel - Thanks! I'll get around to them. :-) Maybe a couple of more tonight. We'll see.
Joanna - Granted, a lot of that time was spent walking around, 30 minutes for lunch, trip back to the truck to switch lenses, back in for more walking and shooting. Whew. Wanted to get my money's worth though.
TXHummer - Thank you, sir!

It's full name is the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, it also has a golf course and plenty of other amenities! Here's a link to their "fast fact" page: http://www.gaylordhotels.com/gaylordtexan/facts/
If I remember right, the Gaylords are a prominent Texas family who have had their hand in building a lot of nice places like this.
