Yes, iCe, I like the bokeh at f/2.8!  Straight out of the camera (no PP except a resize and a crop on two of them): 1.  2.  3.  4.  5.  So... I'm happy with the results, of course, but this was hardly a workout for this lens. I'm looking forward to the Frisbee game on Wednesday to put this thing through its paces. --Daniel |

Thanks Michael! Leon, the L has been, for all practical purposes, welded onto the 1D.  I have a 2x tele, but it's not going to be nearly as sharp as a 400/5.6... :) |

Hehe I know what Michelle's talking about!! Those lamps do make me think of Seasame Street too because that's what all the building and street lamps looked like, if I remember right. When did you get your new lens Daniel? Nathan's addicted to his :) |

It was time for my friend to go spend time with someone that would put it to work. It was without a doubt the best lens I have ever owned... well... these days that's probably not true but I don't know... that sucker focuses like RFN (right freaking now). it's been a lot of places and seen a lot of light so Daniel is going to have to work hard to feed it and take it for long walks  --------------------------- Blog I've got raw unbridled talent when it comes to making mistakes It's time to go fishing <*)}}}>< |
