I would recommend cranking up the ISO and hitting the strip at night. The Bellagio fountain at night is fantastic.

If you have a chance, stop by Valley of Fire State Park on your way to Zion. Well worth the time.

Driving or Flying?
Definately Hoover Dam. be ready for traffic.

Maybe even do a helicopter tour of something. Thats always fun!

If your driving you gotta hit the Grand Canyon. If you have time let me know and I'll take you to the Bisti Badlands ( my favorite spot ).

Have fun in Vegas Hit Sunset Station in Henderson. They have shuttles to it from the strip. They have a huge buffet and really good Video Poker Slots.

Chief driving this time. In Sept we are heading back out that way and driving to the Canyon. Oh I'll talk with my SO and mention Bisti Badlands, I'd appreciate it. Hendersons on the list so we will swing in there. Thanks

How much time will you have in Zion? If you get there before the spring thaw and you have several hours hike up the canyon for at least 3 miles-if you have access to a wet suit take it and wear it.

DEM we are planning 1 full day. We are going to stay near there overnight and hit it before dawn the next day.
