Pics from a car show this weekend.


Please critique and let me know what you think (I did learn that I have a lot to learn. Out of 200 shots, only about 30 or so were decent enough to show others)

I like the first few - I love that first little car!

They do appear as though they're either overy sharpened or something went wrong in the compression. From a composition and exposure perspective, they look fine to me (I've never shot cars, so keep that in mind). Some toward the end seem a bit "muggy" - as if underexposed and then tried to bring out the details.

the Cobra and the Porsche I had problems with b/c of the bright sunlight and the color of the cars. Both were underexposed and I tried to bring them back ... not so successfully.

I compressed the files and they do not look as sharp here as they do on other forums that I am on ... hmmm (something to keep in my mind the next time I post here ... then again it could be this lousy laptop I am using)

anyway .. keep the critiques coming

I'm using a laptop also - but it's not lousy! I'd be more than happy to recommend a good one for you!

Seriously, I do as little photo stuff as possible on my laptops. I just don't find the screens to be good enough for this type of work. Of course, I haven't tried calibrating mine and seeing if it makes a difference!
