My self-appointed assignment today was to photograph River Legacy Parks in Arlington during flood stage. Here are a few from the adventure. (Someone had better comment on these because I got soaked while there!

)
I, also, saw one of the elusive RLP bobcats. Followed him for a few yards but didn't have the right lens mounted for a good shot.
Green Oaks Blvd. entrance into RLP. The sign says it all.
For those of you familiar with RLP, you can see immediately from this image of the main bridge that the Trinity is at flood stage.
River view from main bridge.
Once known as simply Rose Meadows, where children used to run and play, it is now Rose Meadows Pond.
Rose Meadows picnic area.
Part of the parking lot and Wildflower Area submerged in water.
This small bridge is normally passable via foot and bike. It is now part of the river.
And, of course, the rain shower that I got caught in.
