Summer Palace, China - 02-07-2008, 05:57 PM

Here are a few shots of the Summer Palace about 9 miles from Beijing, China. It was originally constructed in the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234), destroyed a few times and luckily rebuilt. The lake was frozen over and several people were out playing on the ice. Another cool place to see for those of you plannning a trip to China.

Very nice Tim, those ceiling colors turned out great, I was hoping you had turned the lens up and shot some shots of the colorful ceilings.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate all of your comments. Steve, that walkway was very cool to see with the bright colors. Here is another shot from the same spot.
