Broken bottle... - 08-18-2008, 10:25 AM

So we're walking through the parking lot after being out all day and my wife see's this broken bottle crushed on the pavement. I told her it would make a cool picture and she said I was crazy. Can't have that (grin).

Since I keep a P&S in the car I took a quick shot of it and went to work in Photoshop. Granted this was more an exercise than anything but sometimes it's good to exercise...

Thoughts?

Nice. Only a photographer would see it as 'cool'.

Very cool! If I'd seen this, I would not have even had the vision to do anything with it. Excellent eye.

I would have never thought of this. Your exercise shows off your talents well.

Wow! For seeing it, for taking the shot and for the excellent post work. Just Wow!!!

Thanks for showing the before post work. That just makes it all the more incredible that you were able to see this in your mind. For me, it would have been a bunch of broken glass to avoid like the plague.

nice breakage...no mass dispersion. This does have an artistic feel to it, good shot and processing.
LOL @ stay thirsty my friends.
