More from the Japanese Gardens - 10-29-2008, 01:10 PM

Tom, Janice and I spent the morning at the Japanese Gardens yesterday. With few exceptions, the color of the day was definitely GREEN. Too green, in fact. Looking forward to a return trip when there is a little more color.

Nice David
I love it when several photogs experience the same event and I can see here three completely different approaches.

Next time I'll take the fisheye after seeing your results.

You've captured the atmosphere of the Garden very nicely.

I did a senior session there last week... and when we went by that gazebo on the water, a woman was sitting inside right by the entrance... breast feeding right out in the open... no shirt covering anything... no towel... nothing. I just thought that was pretty "ballsy".

Nice work.

It sounds rather "zen" to me. Both mom and baby were experiencing the Gardens in a manner that would please the senses and expand the mind.

At least you got your moneys worth....

I wonder what she would have done if we all started taking pictures. I guess you do what you have to do, but I'm kinda glad I missed it.

Thanks for looking!

I think some folks would feel she was being rude by her actions.
I think some folks would feel we were being rude by our actions.
I think some folks wouldn't feel anything, and that scares me.

Is pic #1 from a fisheye lens?......looks very "rounded" to me, but not the usual full circle of a fisheye.

Between photography and paintball my bank account is belly up.
