Cool Shot Man!!!

I can remember a price like that! And not as long ago as you might think...like 35 years! A price war in Hurst! I filled up all 3 tanks in my 73 Ford PU for $13
But the pump (and I do mean P-U-M-P) is a bit before my time!

They don't break down the taxes on the gas pumps anymore, probably because we'd all get ticked about how cheap gasoline really is.

My parents sold my mom's old car several years ago because lead fuel was too hard to find (and the poor thing was falling apart).

taxes (combined) are listed on the side of the pump. They haven't been raised in Texas in eons.

I know it would be unpopular (ya think???), but NOW is the time to raise them. And they need to be a % like other taxes instead of a flat $/g rate.
