The economy is a wreck, GM and Chrysler are fighting to survive, and the housing market is shutting down.

I guess these folks don't listen to the news. This house is already sold. When I first saw it, I didn't like the fact that it had the big power lines behind it. But, that may be just the service line for this house. The photo does not do the house justice. It's hugh1

Good grief. No accounting for taste, hey?

Is the space ship in the back corner with the power pole sticking out of the top part of this property?

I think they are building a gazebo back there and the roof looks like it will match the slate roof on the house. This place is in a new gated sub-division. The lots are 1/2 acre and start at $130,000.00. The sign on the drive leading in says "Low Taxes".

Everything is relative. Compared to Stamford, CT, all taxes in Texas are insignificant. Compared to New Orleans, Texas property taxes are sky high. That may have changed since Katrina. Fortunately I haven't paid New Orleans taxes since Katrina.

Well, for many reasons we can figure a photographer doesn't live there. I mean, look at the windows! How are they going to take advantage of the natural light with those little things?

The house is ugly, but I don't begrudge anyone else's success. In my little world, some of us are struggling but there's a couple near me who just had a fancy new in-ground pool installed. Cool for them!

These big houses are fun to look at and wonder who and why anyone would want a house this size. I would like to see it after it is finished, landscaped, and furnished.

My house is probably smaller that the garage. However, its all I want and can afford, its comfortable, and bets of all.....its paid for.
