Sandisk promotion

May not be a great deal but at least it is a good deal. SanDisk is running a promotion. I just ordered a 3pack of Extream III 4GB cards at $54 after rebate. Found it on the Wolf camera site but may be available elsewhere.

Darn! I didn't check Adorama. The promotion works like this. When you get your memory, go to the seller's web site and download the rebate form. Send in a copy of your receipt or confirmation e-mail and the UPC codes. Based on the type and quantity of CF card purchased you will receive a prepaid Visa card. Since I picked up 4GB cards, the rebate is $10/CF. The 8GB cards were $15/CF, I think.

Now I'm waiting. :)

Better than that - the more cards you buy (same type), the bigger the rebate per card. I ended up getting 3 8GB Extreme III for about $24 each, between the rebate and Abe's LOYALTY10 code. I think it was a good deal...

i ordered 3 16GB Extreme IV UDMA card for $449. Got $200 back. Turn out each 16GB Extreme IV UDMA cost me only $83

I got some 8's and 4's from Adorama last week for Hawaii. DH about died when he walked in and there were 9 boxes sitting on the coffee table lol.
