BRAND NEW: Sandisk 8GB Extreme IV UDMA for $55 - 07-17-2009, 05:49 PM

Sandisk 8GB/16GB Extreme IV UDMA 45MB/s rebate is on again

$60 if you buy one. $130 if you buy 2 and $200 if you buy 3. BH and Adorama have them all in stock. 8GB or 16GB version. This is one of the fastest card in the market.

I ordered 3 for $449 and got $200 back. Turn out each 16GB cost me only $83. Can't beat the price.

Where did you get them for that before-rebate price? Places I checked want close to $200 a piece.

B&H has Sandisk 16GB Extreme IV's for $203.95 ea (free shipping) with $200 rebate, if you buy 3 identical. The Sandisk 8 GB Extreme IV's are $114 ea (free shipping) with $200 rebate, if you buy 3 identical. Maybe they were cheaper two weeks ago.

Hopefully this will still be running for BF. The last couple of years this has been available at the right time when the memory is the least expensive for the entire year. Last year I got 12 4gb III cards for next to nothing.

Keep in mind that from a price/GB perspective, it is more cost effective to purchase three 8GB cards as opposed to the three 16GB cards because you get back $200 for trebling the order. You can use three claim forms per household, with a max of three cards per claim, so you can order up to nine cards for $600 back. The B&H price for the 8 GB UDMA Extreme IV is $114, so your net cost after rebate if you do nine cards is $426. So your cost per GB is $5.92.
