In Ebay today more than 10 for sale 7 sold so far. Sounds incredible but the guy has 100% possitive feedback.
Update: I bought one using pay pal. I will let you know how it goes. If everything goes well my D200 will be for sale.

Update:
The ebay add was misleading because it said the camera was in California but they shipped it from China. Right now it is in customs in California. I think that if it is a brand new grey market D300 it is still a good deal. Guillermo

?Grey market.
Won't that mean no warranty?
Hopefully its not in a container full of lead toys and held up for too long.

It's more likely a falsification.
Why should anybody sell a brand new D300 for $895.-? Doesn't make sense.

WoW! Sounds like Andre took the words right out of my mouth! I saw that in my email and said "WHAT?!?!?!?". WoW!!! I hope you get it. I have been thinking about ordering an iPhone clone for dirt cheap. Just as I was trying to make a decision, I get an email from Ebay saying that the account I had been corresponding with that had REAL iPhone 3gs for a really low amount had been hacked. YIKES!!!

It was shipped EMS (China's postal service) and it arrived in Los Angeles Feb 1 and turned over to US customs. The tracking # shows that it is still in Customs.
Since Feb 1st the package is in USPS hands.

They sell refurbished gear at a discount with a nice warranty. Several of the bigger camera dealers are authorized Nikon refurb sellers. My D80 was a refurb, I saved a bundle and could not tell it was not new.
