I don't shop anywhere for big-ticket photo gear online but with B&H (multiple times) and Adorama (once), and have been very pleased with B&H's customer service, selection and price ... best legitimate "deals" I've found.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a 7d too... I think I'm going to do an ebay (through beachcamera or another authorized seller) to get the 8% bing cash back. Looks like I can come out on it around $1400 for body only...

FWIW, I've bought from adorama, b&h, beach camera, 47th street, & newegg and have never had a problem.

Just pulled the trigger on a 7D from Adorama. Refurb'd. I've purchased 3 other refurbs from them without issue. $1399.

I like Adorama, order about 4 items from them and no issue thus far ... My friends always talks about B&H, you could try auctions for 7D but I some how do not trust certain companies from China store front (ie Ebay). I would always stick with companies that are in America, if at possible.

I'm in the market to buy one this next year and found the best price at Digital Cameras, Camcorders, Projectors, GPSs....@ broadway photo at $1329 for the body only (all I need).

I had a bad experience with Adorama a few years ago so I won't buy from them anymore, but I hear nothing but praises for B&H. Never used them.

www.resellerratings.com is a good source to check retailers. They have a 1.43/10 rating.
