I still haven't fully figured out how to work in layers as far as merging up. I like to make an adjustment and than add another layer so haven't figured that out yet. But there are layers for hue/saturation, contrast, and curves etc. I probably spent a total of 40 minutes with it so I still have a lot to figure out. But for $30 software this can not be beat!!! |
Yea, that's what I meant about layers not being as elegant as they are in Photoshop... some things you can only do to the current layer, so your only real solution is to duplicate the layer, make those kinds of adjustments, and then mask out the areas you don't want. It keeps you from adding a layer that affects all the ones below it, which is a failing on its part.. but I rarely need to do that myself, so it doesn't bother me too much.
It is amazingly powerful for the price... ability wise, its somewhere between Elements and full blown Photoshop. I always tell people: 90% of the features for 10% of the price.
