I can barely get through editing photos in Photoshop. Don't want to learn another program. I have my photos in a database already. I don't like the idea of moving thousands and thousands of files over to here and keywording them again (they are in CyPics which uses MS Access somehow) so is there a reason to use LR other than this price?

I like that I can crop the original without being destructive. The croping is better than Photoshop as it can be dynamic so you can actually see (and change your mind) what you are cropping. For final image processing, I can export to a file folder and do the final sharpening, create a specific image size, create picture packages, etc. It also makes for a very easy workflow when uploading to file services like Smugmug, Flickr, and Facebook.
