I may be shooting with a model who suggested these parks, and having never been to either I'd appreciate any advice and opinions from those who have shot there.

Thankfully, they're both Harris County parks.

actually one of them is a city of houston park, don't remember witch one it is, the city of houston owns lake houston so be aware of that incase of police intervention. Never shot anything at either park so I can't give an opinion on them

I have been to both parks (I have a young child) and both have woods, and lake front abilities for pictures - but I wouldn't necessarily say they would be amazing for photographing unless you have other locations you are also trying around that area. Summerwood is right there if you take Duessen road west to W. Lake Houston and turn left. There is a lake on the left with a nice gazebo.
