Trails at NW corner I10 & 610W - 10-08-2009, 11:58 AM

I've noticed some long paved trails northwest of the I10 / 610W intersection and diagonally opposite Memorial Park.

One trail starts near the Target shopping center south of I10 and extends to the northwest to an area that looks like a park.

The Houston Parks site doesn't have an all-parks map, and there are too many individual parks to sift through.

Specifically, I'm interested in places where the trails go under the highways or offer related dramatic backgrounds.

Does anyone have info?

I haven't noticed any trails that weren't a part of Memorial park near I-10/610. Where is there a Target there? Are you sure you aren't thinking about the one just west of downtown off Taylor Street? There are trails by that one.

Yes. It's actually the I-45 interchange.

The location is Stude Park, which I checked out today.

I'd seen that red metal sculpture for over 25 years while driving on I-10, but only saw it up close for the first time today.
