Moody Garden Conference Center, Galveston

Has anyone shot there? My nieces collage graduation will be held there in a couple of weeks and of course I've been designated as the family photog. I looked at their website and the shots online of the conference center look REAL dark. Dark ceiling, dark floor, dark walls, it looks like it would just suck up any light you try to give it.

I have shot there for an assignment, but it was last year. The rooms are dark, and if anything like 'mood lighting' is done, it's almost too dark. I had difficulty with a Mark III and a 1D in getting focus...flash is almost a necessity...

Thanks Michael, that's kind of what I was guessing. Looks like fast lenses & charged up flash batteries.
