Does anyone have any ideas for a location in Kingwood to take pictures? The only place I know of is East End Park.

I live in Kingwood and can suggest a few places. There is a nice park just past West Lake Houston Parkway on Kingwood Drive. It is the entrance to Fosters Mill. There are two parks next door to a golf course.

Another option is a small church on North Park between West Lake Houston and Mills Branch on the north side of the street. They have a nice gazebo in front of the church.

A third option is River Grove Park at the end of Woodland Hills Drive (travelling South from Kingwood drive. There is a park and a boat ramp in the park.

I hope this helps.

What type of pictures are you wanting to take? Portraits, engagements, family, children etc..

W. lake houston close to the beltway is a really good place for all of the above. Then there is a gazebo and a small wooden bridge in summer wood that is good too. I will try to post some of a recent session I took there. :)

there are plenty of places to take photos in Kingwood. There are several parks, Golf courses, a horse stable, several lake fronts, railroad tracks, architectual buildings, and many ather locations that lend themselves to excellent photographic backgrounds, if you have any questions or guidance feel free to call me I live in Kingwood towards the back area. my phone number is 832-244-5567

I don't know of any barns in Kingwood but there is a metal tin/wood barn type thing in Tomball, TX right by the railroad depot and it it great!!

Also there is a subdivision in Conroe called Creighton Ridge that has a barn entrance that the cars drive through. Never photographed there but I drove by it.
