Thumbs up Nice new spot for a engagement session photo. - 03-13-2010, 10:52 PM

Since I always like to pop out with new places I have discovered I found this:

It's a nice walkway (I have dubbed it a Promenade ) at the Amli Memorial Heights apartment complex at 3003 Memorial Heights just off of Washington ave near downtown Houston. I also thought that the reflective and wet water really made the photo better than with everything dry.

I thought it was pretty at night with the paint scheme, brick pavers, and the lights. I could see a engagement picture set there; a couple on the brick walkway with a dip and a leg thrown in the air. Or whatever that type of picture is called...

No one bothered me while I took my photos and it is pretty late at night...your experience may vary. You could always try asking the management... I also found out that the lights are on a timer and go off sometime just after midnight.

Sincerely,
Z_Malloc

That's the kind of brownstone neighborhood that would make street photography viable. Too bad we don't have whole neighborhoods like that. Wait. If we did, Houston would look like NYC.
