Question Any more ideas? - 06-09-2010, 04:16 PM

Hi all!

I see the other posts about indoor locations in the Houston area, but nothing really set. Just looking for a great indoor locations to photograph a couple of love birds. Something preferably with plenty of available natural light.

Thanks so much!

my favourite ones are from jwlphotography.com he has really good inspiration shots. Other locations are Children museum, and there's a cupcake store somewhere downtown that i saw my friend shot a session a while back. Anyhow, IKEA is one of my top priority places that i want to try to shoot :D

YES! His was the first to pop up, and I was blown away!! I've actually never been to Ikea, but seeing this was such inspiration! Couple said absolutely YES to doing the session there. I was thinking about calling and asking before I went in, and then say a little prayer. lol

No matter how spectacular a location is, you'll never shoot your best when you have to watch your back, and your subjects will be less relaxed.

A place where you know you'll be OK, even if a lot more plain, will work out better every time.

There may be exceptions to this for certain advanced models, but for a "civilian" couple it definitely holds true.

There is no way that I see them agreeing to it. Might I suggest a photographer-friendly retail setting such as Woodlands Market Street or Portofino.
