Grungy looking areas/buildings near Spring Texas

I'm an amateur photographer, and I'm taking promos for a band soon.
It's a metal band, so I'm looking for an older type of area, kind of run down if you must.
I'm sort of going for that cliche metal band picture look.

Downtown has some older run-down buildings.

The only thing I know of that is close to us is Old Town Spring, on the outskirts of the nice stuff....couple of abandoned places, but I wouldn't want to vouch for the safety of the area.
