Outdoor Country feel location - 08-04-2010, 03:17 PM

Does any one have any suggestion for a very country feeling location? I am doing a porfolio shoot for a country artist who is trying to get her name out there.

I would like to know of a place where no one can bother us or that I am not tresspassing.

She specifically asked for an old truck. Does anyone know where a very old ford model or something to that nature is?

Thanks!!!

Kayla

The only one I can think of off hand is at Old Baylor College on 390 at Independance a little way out of Brenham. There is an old restored one at Kemah in front of Saltgrass, if you go there around 7:30 am there is usually no one around but not much of a country feel.

Klebs Woods / Park has the old ranch, barn and house feel. Great for portraits. I don't know if they have any old vehicles, doubt it. They used to have some farm equipment though.

I would just head out to downtown waller, you will get your country feelings, and if you do it on a sunday it will be deserted. Plus, if you play your cards right, you will find an old car to use.

Anderson, TX. All of Grimes county. About as rural as you'll find close to Houston.
Go early. Before shops open & folks start milling about.
