Places to Photograph Flower - 10-07-2010, 10:58 AM

Hello, I am new to the forum so I apologize if this question has been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places to photograph flowers in Houston. I've been to the Japanese Garden by Herman park, but I'd like to take some other places as well.

Thank you.

The other Arboretum up off 1960.

...or drive around and look. The problem with places that have fences and gates and hours when the gate is open is that the breeze is up and the light is bad by the time they open.

EDIT TO ADD:

Get out of Houston. I found a whole fence line covered in morning glories last Saturday morning. It was fairly early, maybe 7:30 or 8:00. The light was great but the breeze was a bother. Keep looking.

In Brehnham, west on 290, visit the Antique Rose Emporium. It's a delight! I haven't visited except in spring, but should be good now, too.
