Temple in Pearland - 11-11-2010, 01:33 PM

The Sri Meenakshi Temple in Pearland is great. They give guided tours and allow for photos during the tour. Not sure if they allow a lot of heavy equipment. Not sure if there is a charge.

Very interesting place. 17130 Mclean Road

I've been past the temple several times and have always wondered if they allowed photography. May have to go on a tour soon.

Our friends go their for their service and he said to just ask for permission and it should be cool. On their site there is an option for rental but nothing photography related.

This is slightly of topic, but has anyone shot at any of the Buddhist temples around Houston? There is one on the corner of Milby and Winchester (near downtown Houston) that I have been thinking about of late. I have passed it many times while on I45 and wondered if they allowed photography on the grounds.
