Location for sunset beach swimsuit photos?

Does anyone know of a good location for sunset beach swimsuit shots? A good location to me would mean:

* somewhat accessible, I've got an AWD car but not a lot of clearance
* not heavily populated
* beach facing west more or less for sunset over the water

Also, do you have any special techniques for keeping sand out of your gear? I'm guessing I may have to sacrifice a monopod and a light stand or two... but I *really* don't want any sand near my lenses or in my camera bag.

I just take my gear out there and shoot - no special bags or anything. I like going down towards East Beach off-season, it's usually deserted and easily accessible (although I don't think this meets your last criteria).

Surfside has great access and is really cool for sunrise shots with the sun coming up over the water.

Not the sunset spot you were inquiring about, but good for in the morning.
