So I am noticing all the wildflowers are starting to bloom and the azaleas are in full bloom. Spring is here!! I am looking for good locales to shoot close-ups of the blooms. Any suggestions?? I was thinking about going to the Bayou Bend Gardens. Has anybody been there? Or do you know of a good place to go? I am interested in shooting all types of flowers!! Thanks |

Bayou Bend is a pain for photography - they won't let you use tripods, etc and if they think you are a pro (or even have pro gear), they jump all over you. Try Hermann Park - the rose garden, japanese garden, and area by the Gazebo is great. Or go to Mercer Arboretum in North Houston. |
