Looking for anything abandoned/dirty/grungy looking

I have a shoot tomorrow with a girl who models for a company called Ladies of Metal, she's going to be wearing black and bright colors but she wants the setting to be kind of dumpy and broken down and gross. I'm open to anything. We're also going to go to some of the nicer parks downtown for some of her other outfits but for this setting I'm absolutely lost as to where we should go. I guess it needs to be kind of close to Downtown Houston. I don't want to wander into any homeless infested areas and I don't want to get any tickets, so if you know of any areas I can try, please throw them my way!

A friend and I had taken pictures at this place in Sugarland a while back. It looks abandoned but there was a man there who showed us around and let us take pictures. It was so long ago that I have no idea where it is, if anybody has any clue please let me know.

I seem to remember him telling us about the rice silos. If an old run down rice mill rings any bells?
