Country feel... - 06-09-2011, 01:54 PM

I needs some help from you Houstonians, I am going to take my niece to do some shots for her cover album that she is going to be doing soon.

I am looking for a location that has a good ol country feel. I really like something like this,

Jessie Senior Shots (3 of 5) by Kyle Scott Kennedy, on Flickr

I want something along the lines of this. Anyone know of any places that have this general feel?

I am taking her to Mercer park because she wants some flowers but I wanted to try something like this.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried going out 290W a ways? I'm out in Hockley a bit for work and there are some plots of land for sale (no fences) that have a country-ish feel. You just have to find a place to park.

Ever since I have heard of people getting in trouble there for shoots I try and stay away.

Also out in the Richmond area, and on grandparkway (hwy 99) in between katy and sugarland, closer to the sugar land side.

Challenger 7 Park if the grasses are tall, if not Armand Bayou Nature Center (but the latter closes at sunset, sometimes earlier).
