Anyone know of any great locations where I can go around a rail road tracks and have downtown Houston as the background?
Something similar to the below image however not as close by. I prefer the buildings to be further away.

try the area around Hardy Street near Lyons just north of downtown. Google Earth is your friend.

if your scouting, exit TC Jester, from I-10, the go north,just a few blocks, there is a bridge that you can see downtown in the distance, there are also railroad tracks beneath the bridge. If that doesn't works those tracks go towards downtown-- try in the heights area
