American/Patriotic Theme

I tried searching through the threads and couldn't find anything that helped me.

I have a shoot coming up with a military veteran that served for 27 years in the Navy. He wants to do a simple portrait session, but has some specific ideas. He wants pics in 2 diff uniforms (one casual and one dress), he wants an outside option and an inside option, and he wants an american flag to be in the background somehow. It doesn't have to be big or the entire back drop, just in the pictures.

So, my question is, where in Houston could I find some place patriotic looking to do the shoot? Is there maybe a museum that has American flags displayed either inside or outside? A park? I'm stuck trying to figure this out. Any and all suggestions/questions are totally welcome. Thanks!

Wish you were in Austin. I've got 5'x7' American Flag background for indoor use. Maybe check with a National Guard station?
