Cypress Locations - 02-10-2012, 12:41 AM

I live in Fairfield and I'm looking for some good Cypress locations. I'd like to know where all of them are, but I'm specifically interested in any places that might be safe for 2 1/2 year olds to run. Traveling a distance, especially during the week by myself with the kiddos while I practice with the new camera is not an option so I need to stick close to home. They can outrun me, lol, so...

On weekends I'd like to go with the kids and the hubby and get some practice, or even with friends so I'd like to know the locations for spur of the moment check em' outs.

ALso, a friend of mine is having her bridal shoot soon and she's going to stay in her dress so I can practice with the new camera on her for a bit on that day also. Locations in Cypress for that would be fabulous too.

Thanks!

Check out Kleb Woods Nature Preserve, off of Mueschke just before you get to 2920. {you could take Schiel out of the back of FF, to Mueshke and take a left}...there is a long trail that leads you to an opening with a couple of white houses and a barn

Another standard CYP location is Cypress Top, next to Cypress Station behind Lowe's.

Good luck!

I've been to Kleb many times and have some family portraits we've had done there but Cypress Top I will need to check out. I love our neighborhood lake off of Mason too. The one with ducks AND the prettywater fall and bridge.

Any other places within 5-10 miles of here?

Just a little farther west on 2920, you will find New Kentucky Park. Lots of nice picnic tables, places for the kids to play, and not a lot of traffic.

It is near the entrance to Kleb Woods off 2920. From the Kleb Woods parking lot, go down Draper to Mueschke, turn left towards 2920, go to 2920, and then turn left. The entrance to the park is about 1.2 miles on the right.
