I'm not sure about UH .. It's pretty ugly to me. I guess if you hang around the newer buildings .. :)

I missed this thread before.

Sounds like a challenge to me. As a UH alum, I must defend the good name of my alma mater!

I agree with Collins. I graduated from UofH, and having spent 5 years of my life there, I feel that there are places just all over the campus that are good for lots of different kinds of photography.

Kinda wish I was into photography when I lived at Law Hall in the quad.

How I remember fondly the cross campus late night streaks, Frisbee Golf at 3 AM (on our own made up courses), and bubble bath parties in the fountain in front of the Library (in the Mid-late 80's before security got harsh), and Fire Extinguisher fights. Ahhh college life.

I lived at Law Hall too! The only dorm rule that I recall was no kegs allowed.

Oh, people actually lived on campus? I assumed everybody commuted in like me. j/k. I didn't think the campus was ugly, but I did think it stunk. Every morning I went to UH, I kept wondering why the campus smelled like burnt coffee. Then I got a job at the Maxwell House plant my last semester and found out why. Sometimes when you leave Minute Maid park, you can smell that smell (awful).

For what it's worth, I have been using the UH Cinco Ranch campus (Mason near Fry) for model shooting:

UH has some very nice older buildings around the CUllen Fountain area of campus... andyou can find some interesting shots as well at and around the AD Bruce religion center.

Get creative, folks!!!

Lots of flashbacks to the mid 80s when I lived and studied there.
Yikes.
