I stumbled across this on the internet and it seems VERY interesting. I had no idea this place even existed. It's a Japanese Garden located in Hermann Park and judging by the photos I bet it’s a great place to photograph. Japanese Garden in Hermann Park

Yes this is a nice place. I took a date there for a picnic once about 10 years ago, have not really been there since. Back then it was nice too.
I also saw this posted on Houston Metroblogs and was going to repost it here.
Also a nice setting for engagement pics.

Ok people... just FYI. The Japanese Garden has HOURS. 10 am - 5 pm. currently.

I've shot here a couple times. An important thing to know is that if you want to leave the path to take photos you have to get a permit from the park to do so. I was attacked by a mad park working on a golf cart for leaving the path with no permit.... :roll: | | | |
