Hartman Management (you have to dig to find the non linkable info on the building)
Building History: Built 1982, 10 story. Was supposed to be first of 3 similar buildings grouped together.
Interesting Tidbits: The building is mirrored and shaped like a Kidney Bean from above. The west side is the concave side and you can often see neat reflections of itself repeating on the inner walls.
Photog Friendly: No. See below. Management: Hartman management, office on premises.
Security: While photographing on property, the photographer was approached by a security guard for the building and told "you can't take pictures", when the guard was informed he could not prevent picture taking, but could tell the photographer not to take any on the property and to leave, he stated "No - you can't take pictures of buildings. It's not allowed". The guard was not well groomed or bathed. Building management should instruct their guards on professional demeanor and public interaction. The building is easily and legally photographed from nearby public areas though. (Note: The building owners may also be the owners of the adjacent fields and the Waffle House/Sonic, so beware of photographing from there).
If the security/management was more friendly, this would be a nice place to do a study of reflections and curves. It would also be neat to launch a tethered large balloon in the concave area to photo the resulting reflections.
