How did some of you get behind the fence at the graffiti wall to shoot the fish? I really wanted to use it today but I didn't even attempt to go back there.

It's not a fish btw - I thought it was at first - but it is a bird.....when I was there last year there was no fence. We are planning to go back in a few weeks to the graffiti wall so let us know how it turns out stitch

Is there a certain time you can shoot at the graffiti wall? Are the owners cool about people shooting there? I don't want to anger anyone or interfere with business there.

I've been there all times of the day and never had a problem. Wouldn't hurt to ask them though if you are gonna set up lights/props/etc.

Thanks to Steelsun's post I decided to go check out the park at Crawford and Eligin for a Quinceanera photo I've got coming up!

And Steelsun is right...those trees are aching for sitting an posing!

Thanks for all the info! If it hadn't been for this thread I never would have found out about these places.

I've attached some photos I took at the graffiti wall @Elgin & Crawford and as well as the park across the street. It's a great spot for portraits, I've done two shoots there now.

Tricky to find. Use a map or GPS.
I was looking for how to get here, I want to take some family pics.

Found a helpful site...
