where do you see that? The article and website only talk about building tours (inside) and pavilion usage needing some reservations. I see nothing about the general walkaround photoshoot (either modeling or nature) requiring reservations/appointment.

of course, i could have missed something, it wouldn't be the 1st time....

Gene used to have a collection of Playboy magazine in his office that dated almost back to the beginning. I bet that's not in the tour information.
The first place I ever got truly drunk was at a wedding reception at the Hall when I was but a pup in about 1989.

How do you make a park appointment only? A very strange world we live in.

I emailed Pct 3 and they advised that the park is currently open to the public on Tuesdays from 9am-4pm and would be open to the public most days of the week after the first of the year. I love this place....especially Juergen's Hall...it reminds me of my childhood.

I want to shoot a classic car on front of that Humble Gas Station!
From the aerial map on LIVE Maps, it looks like you can just drive right up. And if they are only manned on Tuesdays, seems like I should be able to shoot a car there on the weekend.

I live a couple miles from cypress top and the park IS open to the public. The buildings, however are by appointment only. There are still some great photo ops on site without getting into a building. Yes, the gas station faces old 290. You can just drive up without a problem.
