This is part of the Scott Kelby World Wide Photowalk.
When the sun goes down, the Downtown Houston streets lights up with an amazing multi-color glow. We will be creating beautiful photographs as the sun goes down on the city and neon signs and street lights reflecting across interesting architecture and the crowd.
We will start the walk on the UH-D balcony and photograph the sunset on Houston Downtown. Then we will walk down Main Street photographing the architecture, plants, art and people. Once we arrive to Main Street Square, we’ll ride the rail back to UH-D and photograph the night skyline.
Bring your camera (and tripod) to this wonderful experience as we photo-walk through Houston Downtown. Join us and take some amazing low-light, long-exposure, and flash images of Houston’s night-time Downtown locations.
As an official World Wide Photowalk Event, this activity will be family-friendly. Participants are not required to remain in the group. So those wanting to enjoy the Houston “Night Life” with their camera, or focus on a specific area are welcome to separate and rejoin at any time.
The official Worldwide Photowalk is 2 hours long. The Houston @ Night walk is officially 8-10pm, starting at the UH-D balcony on Main Street. Feel free to arrive earlier to join a group discussion about low-light and night photography.
