Anyone contact Glenwood yet and alert them that we are coming?

They usually like to be notified of Groups so they can alert their security people not to be a bother, and to make sure no funerals are scheduled for the same time.

I hadn't really thought about it. If there were going to be 20-30 of us I could definitely see your point, but right now it's looking like 7-10, possibly showing up at different times. How many people makes a "group"?

We stopped in at the office the last time we were there with more than a few people (I think there were probably 6 or 7...) - - they gave us a stack of maps and asked us to be considerate of others that may be there and not to interrupt any services going on. I was there 10 days ago, or so, and the office was locked up but the gates were open.

Cool I'm going home. - 08-14-2009, 10:28 AM

Rats! Shucks! I have to go home. There is a wine tasting at the local winery on Sunday. Lisa wants me to take her. I also get to take pictures.

Don't you hate when stuff like this happens?

Hey, save some of Kevin's old film for me!

Y'all have fun!

We'll save him a roll or 2... I have a few rolls of 35mm HP-5 in the freezer that expired last summer that he can have...

Thanks Jeff. If I have any time after photographing the vineyard I will.

It's a good thing I loaded film last night. New Tmax 400 and new 120 Ektar 100. Hopefully I'll use them well.

Y'all have fun!

Definitely stop by the office and check in. They like to know about groups. You guys have fun. I wish I could go.

The film was meant as a "door prize " for people who actually show up.

We also went to Star Pizza.

I have over 275 shots to go over. I didn't have time when I got back. There were pressing things to attend to (*coughsNAPcoughs*). I did happen to see this one stand out in the folder and decided to attach it. There's nothing particularly spectacular about it, except that I had this brief moment of childlike delight when I stood in the middle of that gazebo and looked up.

Thanks, guys, for making it an interesting gathering. Y'all are a great group and I had fun!
