Who from HCE takes care of the forum members?

I wonder if someone specific at HCE takes care of the forum members?

I am coming in from Mexico and planning to get some stuff. On my last visits to HCE the guys who take care of me seem to always be in a rush, I understand I didn't buy a camera but still my bills were $400+ and $600+ respectively on my last visits of this and that, yet none of the guys there would give me the time of day.

Anyway this time I'm planning to get a new T1i, one 70-200 IS USM 4L and if possible a Sigma 150-500mm among other petty stuf like a new back pack, filters, extra batteries, etc...

I would like to have a name so I can e-mail or call and make sure the stuff is there when I arrive and get all the other petty stuff too...

HCE has a lot of unanswered threads here. A guy named Mike (I think) used to do really well about answering questions, but he left the company. I'm not sure who, if anyone, is minding the forum now.

John is correct, Mike is gone and Jason is also gone......
But, Larry is over the HCE threads......

Call HCE and ask to talk to Larry to make sure they have what you are looking for. If you give him enough notice he can make sure he has it there waiting for you.

Angel is correct, Mike and Jason are no longer at HCE and I am the person that should have been much more responsive to the forum postings..... seems there are just not enough hours in the day. I will try my best to improve HCE responsiveness to forum postings and to take care of any issues or questions you might have.

Frissen, sorry to hear you had a less then acceptable experience at the store. As Angel and Chris mentioned, if you will give me a call or drop me an email I will be glad to help with whatever you might need.

Is the 7D available as a kit already? What lens does the kit bring?

Hi Frissen,

I know we received the 7D bodies, but I'm not sure about kit availability. I'm out of the store every Thursday, but I'll check on availability tomorrow and let you know. Try to give me as much notice prior your visit so I can do my best have what you need and to make sure I'm going to be there.
