I was at the 30D class. It was good, but I think the instructor lost the class a little bit on custom white balance. There are so many things to learn about the camera, he spent a lot of time on the custom WB. Well worth the price though- I certainly learned a couple of things.

a couple of people here at the office that attended last nights class said they learned a lot and that they really enjoyed it.

they said they thought 3 hours was gonna be killer but it in fact flew by and that the rep really kept their attention...

one guy that went doesnt even own a camera and plans to definitely pick one up now since he has a much better feel for the basics and the camera controls than from before. he's sold now!

They could have saved the whole White Balance section and all the questions that popped up with one simple statement "Shoot in RAW".
