TPF Folks:

It is with sadness and joy that I tell you FINE people that I am leaving HCE. My last day will be Halloween (Oct. 31... go figure).

The sadness part is that I will be leaving some great people that I have worked with at HCE for 4 years and you great members of TPF for 3 years. I have come to know quite a few of you personally and have really appreciated everyone's response to our sponsorship. Even more so, I have really appreciated your kindness to me personally in my times of need. Words can't express...

The joy is that I was offered an opportunity that I just couldn't pass up to work with another great company (not camera related) in the CA bay area and I have a ton of family out there. I have worked with this company before in a previous life and the batch of family will make the "big move" a bunch easier after living in Houston for 24 years.

Anyway... on to business. I have been assured that HCE will continue their support and sponsorship of TPF and, as a management team, we will try to put the best person in my place to be your representative on the forum. That announcement will be made very soon and I am confident that you will like my replacement.

I think we should also give Abel the proper "creds" as well. This is a place that we all enjoy coming to, feel welcomed at, and I never looked at my participation with you folks as a job. Credit where credit is due! This is a superb community!

I want to wish the very best to all and, Abel allowing, I will try to remain a member from a personal standpoint.

Once again... Thanks all, take care, the best of luck, and my deepest wishes for everyone's continued success and happiness!

My pockets will be empty without me collecting my nickles and dimes every week from you and Jason....

Never met'ya, Never will.

But you'll be missed here. I bet you will still have a camera, and will post some photos every now and again from the left coast.

Mike, well, I'm glad I got to meet you at least once. I know Abel won't mind if you stick around here, and there's also his California Photo Forum too, so you'll be able to meet members there. Do make sure to check in every once in awhile.
