OK...I can let the cat outa da bag, so to speak.

NAPP/Scott Kelby are coordinating the second annual Photowalk for July 18, 2009. I've signed up again to lead the one here in Houston.

I'm thinking about the Houston Zoo this time. However, if anyone has any other recommendations, I'm open. Here's the link to the Houston website. It's still under construction (mostly because all of the e-mails from NAPP about the website went out Saturday and yesterday).

Feel free to PM or e-mail me with any thoughts/suggestions.

I've signed up, looking forward to it as it will be my first photo walk.

Re: the location, I'm still pretty new to Houston but are there not some good locations, monuments etc... that could be visited starting at the zoo? I'm new at the photo walk, but I'd think that when people look at the Houston pictures hopefully we have more to show them than animals they probably have in their own zoo. Just my thoughts, I appreciate that the organizer has solicited thoughts on other locations.

The Zoo, it has more shade than the Discovery Green. The Zoo will be more fun, it's unlikely we'll even win anything. I might have to talk Marc into renting a cool lense for this one. lol

I'm going to have to be a tentative for this event. If I do show, I guess I'll bring enough SPF 100 sunscreen for the hairless and featherless

Sunscreen must be racial, because it doesn't work on MesiCANS!
We had a blast last year, I think I might do it again vatoS!
